Ep 6 Breakfast: We are GOING BANANAS with Luke & Lily!

Recipes: Monkey Toast / Ape Shake / Banana Bread Oatmeal

 

Monkey Toast

Ingredients:

Whole Grain bread, toasted
Organic Peanut Butter
Honey 
Banana

Directions:

Toast whole grain bread in toaster. Top with organic peanut butter. Drizzle honey over peanut butter. Chop bananas into coins (in peel), place on top! Enjoy!

Ape Shake

Ingredients:

2 bananas
2 cups ice
1-2 cups blueberries
2 Tbsp Soy protein powder
1 cup yogurt (greek)
1 tbsp agave syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk

Blend, all together, enjoy!

 

Banana Bread Oatmeal

 Ingredients:

1 cup quick oats
2 cups milk
3 bananas cut into tiny pieces
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup walnuts
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
pinch salt

Directions:

Place oats & milk in skillet over high heat, bring to simmer and then reduce heat. Chop bananas, and add to a medium bowl. Mix in all other ingredients into the bananas. Add to skillet and cook over medium heat, until everything is gooey. Remove from heat, serve in bowls and enjoy!
